The Classic collection from Graf von Faber-Castell are available as a fountain pen, capped roller ball, propelling ball pen or 0.7mm mechanical pencil.
The collection comprises of several different finishes: platinum plated; matt black ebony wood, reddish brown pernambuco wood or dark brown grenadilla wood barrels - all with platinum plated trims; or the luxurious solid sterling silver implements - the highlight of the range.
The fountain pens use a converter/cartridge system for maximum practicality. The roller ball and ball pens both accept standard refills and the pencils have 0.7mm leads with an eraser concealed under the end-cap.
I bought this as a 70th birthday gift for my father. Very stylish pen, he'll love it. Super quick service, well packaged.....love the engraving on the cap.
My husband loves it! Very nice seller too. Thank you.

At least twice as thick silver compared to a Yard-O-Led. Smoothest nib possible. Great style and superior quality. Love this pen!

Dear Sir/Madam, is there a perceptible weight difference between the sterling silver and wood editions? Best regards, Chenbo
Asked by chenbo
The weights of the Classic fountain pen range (including cap) are as follows:
Wooden finishes: 42g
Platinum finish: 42g
Sterling Silver: 50g
Giving an 8g difference between the Sterling Silver pen compared to the rest of the range.
