An excellent writing instrument and a wonderful fountain pen
Excellent in terms of writing, it is also aesthetically very attractive. I love using it. I have a several fountain pens and this Castell is among the top 3 I love writing with.
Great pen, great service
My purchase was a Faber Castell Ambition in black with a fine nib. Faber Castell nibs are consistently the smoothest I've used, combined with just the right degree of flexibilty. This new pen is no exception, from the first few lines it's just "right", light, comfortable in the hand (I use it non-posted), and it draws a nice wet, but non-smudging line. Service from the Pen Company was excellent, it turned up within a day.
